1930s/1940s 14 inch Madame Alexander Sonja Henie composition doll

Please view all photos of this lovely doll then read the description that follows.

Madame Alexander first manufactured the "Sonja Henie" doll in 1939. She is made of composition. This doll had a special mold (face) that was never used for any other doll. This very pretty 14 inch Sonja Henie doll is in very good condition. She has her original full wig. Sonja displays lovely and does not have all over crazing. She has a few lines and wear at the joints which are pictured. I see no crazing on her face, there are a few loose hairs. She has a slight crack on her arm which is pictured. Her paint is very nice with lovely lips painted eyebrows and eyelashes. Her eyes are beautiful and clear original brown! She retains all her original real eyelashes. She wears a tagged Madame Alexander Sonja Henie dress that has some age spots on the back I have not tried to get off. She has her original teeth. The doll has no odors and is from a non-smoking home. I accept payment by money order, cashiers check, or personal check only. Personal checks must clear before shipment. Buyer is to pay priority mail shipping and insurance charges. I have used Global Express Mail for overseas shipments and it has worked well. I have furnished many large photos but again please ask for more. Please ask questions as this will be a final sale unless the item has been misrepresented.
