This outstanding rare and hard to find 16 inch fully marked "Shirley Temple" composition baby was made by the Ideal Toy and Novelty Company in the 1930s. If I didn't have two great 16 inch wigged babies, and two a like outfits, this doll would not be leaving my house. She is wearing a gorgeous original hard to find Molly-'es dress and bonnet. I love the embroidery! The 1930s organdy dress and hat do not have their tags but this outfit is definitely original made by Mollye Goldman. Mollye Goldman designed the original clothes for the Ideal Shirley Temple composition dolls. My other identically made outfit is tagged Molly-'es. The ribbon on the hat and dress are original. The dress is in excellent condition as you can see by the photos. Shirley has a lovely original mohair wig in darling Shirley curls. She wears her original onsie undies with rayon socks and darling leatherette shoes. Shirley's composition does have light crazing. Her paint is excellent. She has her real upper lashes, painted lower lashes, and painted eyebrows. Her eyebrows are light. She has her original teeth and tongue. The doll and dress have no odors and are from a non-smoking home. Shirley's new owner will truly love her, she is very special.
