Wow! I traveled all the way from Maryland to California. It was a long trip! I arrived late on Thursday at the home of Craig, Pam, and Kayla. I spent a quite evening visiting with Kayla. We read my journal and looked at the souvenirs I have collected. Kayla gave me a tour of the house. The house reminded me of a gingerbread house, it is a little cottege built in 1937. It has arched doorways, funny shaped ceilings and lots of windows. Kayla also introduced me to her four cats, Moose, Chelsi, Sasha, and Sam. I spent the night in Kayla's room with some of my cousin Shirley Temple dolls. Kayla's room is the cat free zone. Kayla tells me that Moose eats mohair! Oh my, thats not good!

Friday morning, we got up early. Kayla was off to school, so I spent the day with Pam. We had all kinds of things to do to keep us busy. Pam does all kinds of sewing so there is ribbon, lace, and material everywhere! Pam makes new outfits for my cousins that have lost their original ones.... She dressed her dolls up in a Stowaway and Little Colonel outfits so she could take some pictures to send to Loretta. After that it was time to do some painting in the kitchen. Pam is hoping to have her kitchen cabinets painted by Christmas. Good Luck! Since I didn't have my painting clothes I spent time with my cousins. They work as fitting models for Pam....
