Here is a photo of Shirley Temple Black showing a 1950's twelve inch vinyl doll made by Ideal. She authorized the production of these dolls. This photo is from the Rita Dubas collection. Again, notice the costumes made for the 12 inch vinyl dolls were a similar style dress to what a young girl wore in the 1950's and 1960's. All the outfits on this page are original.Many collectors consider the 12 inch doll from the 1950's to be one of the best in capturing Shirley's appearance.
