This is such a mischevious and happy looking little Shirley. I really love this little Shirley Temple doll. She is 11 inches tall, composition, and made by Ideal in the 1930s. This doll has the unusual blue tin eyes. Only some 11 inch dolls have the blue tin eyes, this was a factory mistake. Shirley's Mom, Gertrude Temple, requested all the Ideal Shirley Temple dolls have the hazel glassine eyes, that looked more like Shirley's. This doll has very mint compo, coloring, paint, and original mohair wig. She wears a dress collectors call the scotty dress from the movie "Our Little Girl". It is very unusual to find this dress for an 11 inch doll. The dress is even more unusual since it has the loop trim on the bodice instead of the plain trim. It's a great little dress on a special little doll!
